About These Conversations

I’m hosting  Community Conversations on AI as a space to discuss AI with people from across my network. 

AI news, product announcements, predictions, warnings, hype, and debate are everywhere. What is harder to find are places where people can slow down, compare notes, listen and share, hear different perspectives, and make sense of what is happening together.

These are not lectures, technical presentations, or debates. They are facilitated conversations where we can bring together what we are seeing in the news, encountering in our lives and work, hearing from others, wondering about, excited by, and concerned about.

One of the things I'll be modeling is how to run online Community Conversations on AI with different numbers of people.  

Based on the topic, some conversations may be with a small group of people, other conversations could have 50 or more. 

Topics will vary.   I'll share details for each live session via email. Some sessions will have a theme or focus.  Others will be "bring your hot topics" sessions.  

Approach

This is not a debate to find the "right answer," but a chance to listen, learn, and crowdsource our insight.  We each bring different life experience, knowledge, hopes, concerns, and ideas.     

Requirements

Human? You're good to go!  The only requirement for this series is that you're human, you care about our shared future, and you want to dig into the issues raised by AI. No technical expertise is required.
