Zoom 4/29 Practical AI for Congregations!
UU Clergy, Staff and Volunteer Leaders - Join us for our next UU Growth Lab live Zoom session with Peter Bowden on April 29th at 1:00PM Eastern Time
This no-technical-skills-required session explores how congregations can use AI with intention, integrity, and purpose to advance their mission and impact.
We'll explore specific ways congregational leaders can use AI tools to save time, amplify creativity, and enhance communications.
I'll show you how AI can help with brainstorming, research, strategy development, content and image creation, and enhancing existing content.
These capabilities will be applied to real world examples from congregational life -- from preparing sermons and small group ministry sessions to enhancing congregational communications.
Here's a quick warm up, especially if you've never tried AI tools like ChatGPT before.
- Go to https://chatgpt.com - you can try it without creating an account!
- Ask ChatGPT, "Who is Peter Bowden the Unitarian Universalist?"
- Ask, "What do you think Peter would say about congregations using AI?"
- Ask, "I am a [YOUR ROLE] in a UU congregation working with a team on [WHAT YOUR DOING]. How can AI help us?"
This is to give you a little taste of AI.
My position is that Unitarian Universalists need to understand the technologies impacting our members, communities, and civilization if we want to lead, minister, and be of service
