January Training Focus
Our training focus this month is video strategy for thriving congregations.
Video comes up regularly in our strategy sessions as social media and the internet in general are now dominated by video!
When the pandemic hit, drawing on my work with media, I made a course called Video Message Academy for Congregations. Members may access this now on-demand.
Given the importance of video for membership development, and that it's time for an update to that program, I've made this course one of the UU Growth Lab membership benefits.
I am going to re-record the entire course this month with 2026 updates, which all members will have access to as it rolls out.
UU Growth Lab January Live Sessions
For our monthly live session, I am running 2-hour updated versions of this training which I'm calling "Video Strategy for Thriving Congregations."
I am offering this session three times in January. Pick the time that works best for you.
• Tue 1/13 at 1:00pm EST • Member Registration
• Sat 1/24 at 2:00pm EST • Member Registration
• A weeknight to be determined the last week of January
You only need to attend once! They will be the same training.
I'm using the alternate name to differentiate from the course. We can't cover all the content in the course in a two hour training. We will not be going into video making tips, only strategy.
