The UU Growth Lab member program is evolving; here's the plan...
For the last 18 months, the UU Growth Lab has gathered every month for live training, strategy, Q&A, and conversation. Throughout that time, I’ve been learning from what members value, what you use, and what helps you and the leaders in your congregations move forward.
The Key Shift
Our monthly live session will become the core anchor of the UU Growth Lab experience. Previously, I developed a live training, learned from our discussion, and then recorded a separate on-demand version of much of the same material. Members have made it clear that they value the live sessions and their replays.
At the same time, our growing relationships and follow-up conversations are surfacing specific questions and needs that deserve more focused attention.
Instead of reproducing the live training as a "Peter only" training after each session, I’ll invest that time in creating more targeted additional member content.
What Members Will Receive
Following each monthly live session, members will continue to receive:
- The full video replay in our member area
- A readable transcript of my core presentation or mini-training offered during the live session
- Takeaway notes
- Edited audio-friendly version of training/presentations shared through our members-only podcast
• Additional member content different than the live session
Additional Member Content
The additional member content may include leader strategy briefings, deeper Q&A responses, and perhaps things like case studies and member interviews.
This is a strategic shift in how I'm using my time to support UU Growth Lab members.
I'm viewing this as an area where we can experiment together and see what's most valuable.
Most important is that our conversations, your questions, implementation experience, and follow-up questions are driving this.
🔒 Unlisted YouTube Links for Member-Only Sharing
I'm planning to share some of this additional content as unlisted UU Growth Lab YouTube videos for easier sharing with leaders in your congregations, in addition to our member area.
For example, being able to email an unlisted YouTube link to a 15-minute member-only strategy briefing. No login required for them to view.
You can share the link and say, "This is what we've been discussing in the UU Growth Lab. Will you take a look so we can discuss?"
