For paid outreach to be effective, it is critical to understand the larger communication and UU membership development landscape. Things are changing rapidly!
This session covers a range of issues and strategies related to Unitarian Universalist paid marketing, advertising, and outreach strategy.
Social media as we know it is dead. We've shifted to interest-based media powered by algorithms that attend to what users actually engage with.
We also discuss how your website, YouTube channel, and other aspects of your online presence impact the results of paid outreach. In short, you can pay to engage with people, but that is likely to only bring them to your website, where they will discern whether they want to take the next step.
Paid outreach needs to be in the context of a larger holistic understanding of how people are researching, exploring, and making decisions online.
