NEW ON-DEMAND MODULE: Practical AI for Congregations
After our live session, I developed a new on-demand module on AI for congregational leaders which is now available in our member area.
This module is broken into five parts:
- Introduction: Besides being helpful, why we need to understand AI to lead in a world that is increasingly saturdated by AI.
- Chatbots and Prompting: How to use chatbots like ChatGPT to enhance and accelerate brainstorming, strategy development, research, improve communications, and more!
- Deep Research: Use the new "deep research" features many AI platforms now have including citation of sources. In the demo I did, it ChatGPT Deep Research spent 13 mintues research, did over a 100 web searches, and compiled a 15 page cross disciplinary report related to consciousness as fundamental.
- Notebook LM: Use Googles Notebook LM to upload files or import web content into a curated knowledge space that you can then interact with via an AI chatbot, generate Audio Podcast overviews, FAQs, Timelines, and Briefing Docs!
- Image Generation: Sometimes you have a UU specific image need that just doesn't exist. Prompt an AI and instant cartoon rainbow robot holding a flaming chalice and a cup of coffee.
Those are some highlights. I expect this module to be expanded and updated over time. If you start using a new AI tool in the context of congregational life, or develop a new use case of an existing tool, I'd love to hear about it!
