Informed by our previous live session, this is a 55 minute training that addresses what I consider a relational deficit undermining many volunteer recruitment efforts caused by changing culture over time and accelerated by the pandemic. The conditions that supported volunteerism are weakened. We need to intentionally cultivate them. I offer a specific approach using two time tested relational congregational events with more volunteer education and invitation moved inside events. This approach is an intentional effort to build the relational foundation your congregation needs to thrive. And a heads up: It requires food, fun and fellowship!
